This Award will improve your confidence and give you the knowledge and skills to understand the purpose and context of learning and development. The course will cover:

  • the learning and development cycle
  • legislative and organisational requirements
  • the skills needed to effectively deliver training

What can I do next/once qualified?

Once qualified you will be able to apply for job roles in learning and development organisations. This may be to support or deliver training typically as a trainer, assessor or mentor.

Course Delivery & Assessment

You will already be working in a learning and development role for a minimum of seven hours per week. You’ll need to plan,prepare and deliver a ‘micro-teach’ session to an audience of fellow learners. Description

This qualification is for those working in a range of learning and development roles with employers.

Level 4 is ideal if you are working at a senior or managerial level in learning and development and have a great deal of professional experience.

There are two pathways available at Level 4:

Level 4 Diploma in Learning and Development

**To achieve this Diploma you MUST be managing a learning and development program

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required for a range of learning and development roles, including:

- Assessor

- Verifier/Quality Assurer

- Training Development Manager

- Learning Centre Manager

- Work Based Learning Manager

- Learning and Development Manager

Course Delivery & Assessment

Attending 5 half day training sessions, written tasks, being observed in the workplace and sharing work documentation.
